There are a few restuarants but we only ate in the one directly on the beach. Perhaps at booking we should have informed the resort that we were both over 70. On booking it would be better if they indicated that some rooms are on a hill. There was also noisy renovation work taking place from the adjacent building. Access was up many steps and not recommended if you have mobility problems or are older. The water is very cloudy and snorkelling is not on the agenda. The tide is in every morning but recedes early afternoon and you are left with a muddy area extending 200 metres into the sea. The Paradise Resort is very small and the beach area only extends to about 600 metres. Lovely trip on speedboat from Marina to Koh Yao Noi. Hotel sent us thank you card with nice present.… It’s close to the islands and national park. Luckily lot of people are going to the resort. If you want to go to the village, resort has their own bus but you have to let them know day before and the minimum is two people. You can take taxi from hotel by the sea or taxi (seems like safari cars by locals. It’s complicated to travel from the hotel. Also you need to know there is a very big (like everywhere on this island) low tide in the afternoon so it’s better to have a room with pool or go somewhere. Bed was noisy and there should have be anti mosquito thing. What is a little bit minus - bad acustice at the rooms, you can hear everyhing. Loved the locality - view was one of the best in my life and the beach is nice with homies birds. breakfast was really good! European and Asian mixes with breads, cheesses, hams. Food was good, we ate at the seafood which is main. Love the details everywhere (seems like girl designed that:)). We had superior villa with view to the garden with nice terase. The restaurant offers a great variety of fresh seafood as well as changing buffets and a tasty a la carte menu. In this wonderful tropical setting you will enjoy outstanding Thai and Western cuisine. The main restaurant of the Paradise Koh Yao is nestled in a covered area among palm trees with additional seating on the open beach, looking out on the beautiful bay. The Pool Villas are just meters from the sea with a private pool and beach front garden. There are Jacuzzi studios and plunge pool deluxe rooms. They are spacious and private featuring a Thai style semi-outdoor shower and hollywood swing in the open sala living area. All of the exquisite rooms and villas are nestled in the tropical forest. The resort has 69 rooms, two restaurants and two bars. Koh Yao Noi is unspoiled, largely untouched, set in lush tropical forest with a wonderful remote feel. It's a laid-back and close to nature setting perfect to relax and unwind on the 400 meter private beach, in the tropical spa and while practising yoga and meditation. Paradise Koh Yao is away from the crowds, peaceful and quiet, only 1 hour from Phuket or Krabi, Thailand.
