![]() ![]() So, to find someone that specifically is looking for my narrow purpose has been hard. Everyone has their own preferences (for a variety of reasons). But, have pretty much gathered the following: Obviously the sound preferences will change, but its a start. I will update after playing around more, but my research has shown that this is more the direction to go. My Atmos to a custom equalizer that I pulled from interwebs (see below from other post). I just updated to Dolby Atmos and will finagle that for a bit. Lots of confusion on all the different presets. I just bought the 7x's and am dabbling with the settings and hope to update. Let me know if there is anything I’m not super clear with (I know this is a lot of info). (EDIT - Just keep in mind, I do think it’s important to have 1 or the other set to flat to avoid the in game audio overriding the headset or vice versa.) I personally dislike the boost high because I feel it amplified gunshots and explosions a little too much for my liking. You can also do the inverse and set your equalizer setting to flat and the in game audio to “boost high” which a lot of people will say they like to use for footsteps. My personal preference is to have the in game audio set to either “Flat” or “headphones” (Cold War) and Studio Reference (Warzone) while setting my 9x equalizer settings to the performance preset. Next you’ll want to adjust both your headset audio and game audio (on the settings menu within COD). I turn the application setting to balanced (you can choose between Spacial sound and balanced in the application). My preference is the DTS:X application (where you can actually select that you are using the Arctis 7). I believe both have free trials you can test out. They are third party and should be accessible in your console ap store. To start out I’d recommend downloading both the Dolby Atmos and the DTS:X applications.
